Marie Osmond was at the Orem Costco earlier this month signing copies of her new book, Might As Well Laugh About It Now. Since my mom is a fan (and wants to be Marie's best friend...which I made sure to tell Marie) I packed up the kids and took them to meet her. I am just glad we got there and hour early. She came at Five and it took us an hour from where we were, and the line had to be at least another 3 to 4 hours after us. It was fun meeting her though. Sorry you couldn't be there mom.

Every week we have a playgroup. This time it was at my house. Usually playgroup lasts from about 11a.m. to 1p.m. This is to allow the kids to still keep somewhere close to there naptime. (12:00). Well this particular playgroup, people didn't leave until after 2. I hurried and fed Bentley. He was so tired he couldn't wait for me to put him in his crib for a nap. So he fell asleep at his high chair.

Every mom wants to make sure her house is child proof. I am no different. Even though our Landlord told us we could not child proof our cupboards, Cory and I still did. Alot of good it did me. Bentley figured out how to open the cupboard under the sink. All my cleaning supplies had to get moved. I don't fight with him when it comes to the trashbags... which he gets out EVERYday. Just two days ago he figured out how to get the plastic plugs you put into electrical sockets out. I have to use a knife...But Bentley can do it no problem. I have to watch him close because he loves to plug and unplug things.

Bentley LOVES to clean. He wants to help me whenever he can. He especially loves the vacuum and wants me to vacuum my floor all the time. Well, Cory and I, trying to save money, cancelled our cable. We have the basic channels. One of the channels is the Home Shopping Network (HSN). I was watching this becasue they had the Dyson vacuums on. I want one sooooo bad. Bentley came out of his room, and stared at the TV for the whole presentation. He did not move. When it was over and they went to the next thing, Bentley pointed to the TV and whined that the vacuum was gone. It was sad.

Bentley started doing the cutest thing lately. About three weeks ago, he hurt himself. I looked at him and as all mothers do at some time or another kissed where he got hurt and said all better. I did this one other time. Today I watched him accidently hit is foot on a chair and then bonk his head on the fridge. He came over to me whimpering a little and pointing to his foot, he then proceeded to lift his foot from the floor. I kissed it and said all better. He then pointed to his head and again I kissed it and told him all better. The whining immediately stopped and he went back to playing. It makes me laugh that all he needed was a kiss.

It has been a full house lately, but I wouldn't change a thing. I have had family come and visit and it has been so much fun. Grandma Marbara, Grandpa Steve and Uncle Tim came up and Grandma Vicki, Aunt Stephanie, and Cousins Connor, Kenna and Cash also came up. Bentley had so much fun playing with everyone. To bad he wasn't feeling well. He got sick and was throwing up Thursday night, and all day Friday and Saturday morning. He is better now.

Easter Sunday was great. We all went to church, Cory left early with Bentley though as we didn't want to take the chance on getting any other kids sick if he went to nursury. It was so great for me to go to the whole three hours. It feels like forever.

The Easter Bunny came to our house in the afternoon after Bentley's nap. He brought him a basket filled with a number puzzle, cars tattoos, a slinki (its already broken) balloons and some other goodies. He found easter eggs out front and had a blast. I loved watching him carry his basket around to all the eggs.

Bentley wanted to try on his daddy's shirt!

Cory has about a week left until finals and then he will be working full time this summer. I am looking forward to going to Vegas to visit everyone in July and maybe even sooner. I can't wait to see all the new babies that will be born next month. Royce is doing well. Just growing alot. He is now 1 month old and already getting so big. I can't believe how fast it is going. I am glad that I am home now so I can be there to watch him grow.

WOW!!! It has been a little tiring this last couple of weeks. Two kids are definetely harder than one but then again they are double the fun. Grandma (Vicki) came to visit the first week and she helped so much. I don't know what I would have done without her help. Bentley enjoyed seeing her as he always does. Thanks so much mom!!!!

Bentley is taking well to his little brother. Always trying to help. He can get me stuff when I need it and even tries to help me burp Royce. It is so cute. The other day Bentley wanted to hold Royce...by hold I mean I hold him over Bent's lap while he looks at him... Bentley would not let me take Royce away for twenty minutes. It is cute. My little Bentley is no longer little. He seems so huge and heavy compared to Royce. When did he grow up.

Cory is doing good in school. He is winding down on this semester and will taking the Summer off to work full time. He is currently looking for a job and getting started working with Primerica.

We have had a couple visitors besides Grandma this last couple of weeks. My friend Annette from my ward came by to visit with her 31/2 week old son. She didn't even know I had Royce yet. Royce got to meet his first friend. Becky Earl also came by to visit with her two girls (We call Sadie and Jesse Bentley's girlfriends). They had fun playing with Bentley and it was nice visiting with Becky. I am so glad she moved up here.

I look forward to things getting easier, everyone tells me it takes a couple of months. I also can't wait for Grandma (Marb) to come this weekend and my sister Stephanie to come next week. I just miss my family so much. I love all you guys.

ROYCE STEVEN PAYNE is here!!!!!!
We are so excited to have our new baby boy. Royce was born March 10, 2009 at 5:32 a.m. He was 6lbs 12oz and 20in long. He gave us a little scare as he had some trouble breathing, but everything is good now.
Bentley is such a good older brother. He loves him sooooooo much. He is always handing us a binky to give to him. He also wants to hold him all the time. Its funny to watch Bentley look for him when he doesn't know where he is.

Above is some slideshows of Bentley. He is getting so big. He is talking alot!! No real words yet but he has a little language he likes to use. He chews Cory and I out quite a bit. You are going to see pictures of Bentley in a BYU Jersey. Doesn't he look like a little boy and no longer a baby? It makes me sad!!! We also have some pictures of hime brushing his teeth. He loves it. He cries when we take his toothbrush away.
Things are good here. I am getting really home sick and can't wait to make a trip home in October to see Holly's baby and the rest of all our family. I miss you guys tons and I know Bentley does too!!
I went to the doctor today and got to here the babies heartbeat. Everything sounds healthy. I am 14 weeks along. I won't find out what I am having until 20 weeks. Cory and I both think it will be a boy. I'm curious to see if anybody else has any ideas.
Cory's schooling is going good. He studies alot and definetely stays busy. There is alot more reading to do at BYU than at CSN. It is interesting though. In his American Heritage class he was reading about President Woodrow Wilson and how he did work for all the men who signed the Declaration of Independence as well as many of the Presidents of the United States. It is interesting that they put that type of twist in it. It brings a bit of the spirit into his education. I like it.
I hope I can keep the blog going for everyone. I am trying to do better.

Fun new pictures
